About Us

The creation of Alboyd Tours and Travel Agency (ATTA) was inspired by Alistair Boyd who at the age of 22 accepted HRH The Duke of Edinburgh’s challenge to students to go around the world starting with £5, equivalent today to Shs 24,000 Ugx. His adventurous journey of fourteen months through twenty countries was recorded in his book entitled Royal Challenge Accepted. That experience resulted in a life-long career with the UK Commonwealth Development Corporation for which Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth, honoured him with membership of the Distinguished Order of St Michael and St George. Happily, Alistair has agreed to become a patron of ATTA in the hope of inspiring today’s younger generation to experience the excitement of what is really happening in the world about them.  Alboyd Tours and Travel (ATT) offers inbound and outbound tours and travel services in East Africa.

It is based in Kampala, the rapidly developing capital of Uganda, Our target market are the travelers who are motivated by what we have got to offer.Our understanding of the uniqueness of the geographic arena combined with the perceived passion of youth to explore new horizons and experience new adventures makes ATT your ideal travel partner.We want you to help you make the best of your holiday, providing you with unforgettable memories. Albert Niwamanya

Albert Niwamanya is a Ugandan entrepreneur and investor. He is the founder of Alboyd Tours and travel company (ATT). Born and raised in south western Uganda. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Makerere University and a master’s degree from Middlesex University London. His humble background and experience gained from working with NGO’s has shaped him into the strong, visionary and determined man he is today

Director:Jonah Cheluget

Jonah Cheluget is a Kenyan based in London and holds a Bachelor of Business studies degree. He currently works in the corporate sector in London. He is also a director at Gate keeper Ltd Kenya
